Frequently Asked QuestionsIf you live in the UK and can access NHS services, abortion care will usually be available at no cost to you. Abortion pills cannot be bought at pharmacies or health clinics; you have to be referred to NUPAS or another abortion provider to receive abortion care.
If you live outside the UK then you would need to pay for abortion care. This is known as private healthcare, or self-funded treatment. At NUPAS we offer both NHS and private care options.
