You probably won’t even think about it for a day or two, but you can start again as soon as you feel comfortable.
Gentle exercise is good and you can continue this over the weekend if you feel up to it. For more physical sports it is best to take a week off and then start slowly, gradually working up to your normal level. Your best guide is to listen to your body.
The recovery period is different for each client.
If you follow the guidelines (you’ll be given a copy when you are discharged), and you have an office based job, you should be fit enough to return to work after the weekend. clients who have a very physical job, or one which involves heavy lifting etc, are advised to take a week off before returning to work.
Usually between 12-15 minutes. With registration, counselling and a short rest following you operation we hope you visit will be no longer than two hours.
