After 2-3 days. When you are discharged you will be given extra dressings to apply.
Although you may feel like it, it is not advisable to soak in the bath; a shower is best and you should cover the wound with cling film so as not to get it wet.
We advise that you wait 4-6 weeks before you resume intercourse.
Nothing is 100% safe but conception is extremely rare.
You will have some referral pain in your back and/or shoulders. This is due to a build-up of gas during the operation. Some peppermint in hot water or Gaviscon will help ease the discomfort.
You will have sutures but they dissolve over time so there is no need to return to the Clinic.
